Top 5 of most commented football players

Because of various reasons, some footballers decide to go to their rival`s team and that is how they usually piss their fans off. Still, they are real stars nowadays - see our top 5 of most commented footballers:

1. Ronaldo
The Brazilian scorer Ronaldo is probably the most commented football personality at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21stcentury. And he really should be. In different periods of his career, Ronaldo was apart of all sides of two of the largest derbies in the world, Milan and El Classico. While playing for AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid, the Brazilian remains a favorite of the neutral crowd.

2. Carlos Tevez
The Argentine international Carlos Tevez had some good years at Manchester United, winning two consecutive titles with the Red Devils in 2008 and 2009. But the conflict with the team`s mentor Sir Alex Ferguson sent him into the blue part of Manchester. During the matches via 11livesoccer between the two teams, the Argentinian was booed vehemently by fans of Manchester United. In 2012, Tevez contributed greatly to winning the long-awaited title of Citizens.

3. Sol Campbell
One of the most shocking in the history of football transfers remains that of Campbell from Spurs to Arsenal in 2001. The central defender moved in another part of North London as a free agent.

4. Michael Owen
Michael Owen is a product of the school of Liverpool, loved and respected by everyone at Anfield. With the Club from Merseyside, he won the UEFA Cup, FA Cup and the Golden Boot in 2001. 8 years later, Owen managed to piss off any fan of Liverpool, signing a contract with the eternal rivals - Manchester United.

5. Luis Figo
The Portuguese Luis Figo is considered one of the greatest attacking players, unless you ask the fans of FC Barcelona. In 2000, Real Madrid broke records for the transfer of a football player by buying Figo from Barcelona for 60 million. For an evening, the Portuguese Idol turned into Judas for all fans of the Catalans.
