Live Soccer: Burnley wing with serious injury, the other two questioned about the match with Leicester

Burnley wing Johan Berg Goodmundson will be absent from the pitch for several weeks as he suffered a serious injury from the inside of his thigh during matches with Iceland`s national team. Burnley manager Sean Daish said this.

The 28-year-old Icelander, who has so far had four games and one goal in the Premier League this season, received the problem during Iceland`s 0-1 defeat to France. `Unfortunately, Johan Berg got injured during his country match and the injury is quite serious with regard to his hip muscles, the coach said before Leicester`s visit on Saturday. We will definitely miss a few weeks. I don`t knowexactly, but the injury is serious and will not go away in a few days.

Halfback Jack Cork (shoulder problem) and striker Ashley Barnes (stretch in the groin) face a late fitness test to see if they can rely on them on live soccer game during next week. At the same time, midfielder Danny Drinkwater, who is on loan at the team, misses King Power Stadium`s visit.

Dutch defender Eric Peters returns to the squad, who has been recovered from a leg injury sustained from a match with Everton. Burnley is currently 7th in the 12-point standings with eight games and hopes to extend her four-game losing streak.
