Espanyol - Rayo Vallecano (Primera Division)

Espanyol welcomes Rayo Vallecano in a meeting of the 35th round of the Spanish Primera Division. The match will be played on Sunday (May 3, 2015).

The odds for the game offered by the leading bookmaker bet365 are as follows: 1.75 for a home win, with a draw at 3.80 and 4.75 for the victory of the guests. Favouring the home side is mostly due to the poor performance of Vallecano as guests, namely seven consecutive defeats away from home, but it can`t be denied their amazing game in the last round against Valencia, which ended with 1-1.

The two teams occupy the middle of the table and this game really doesn`t matter to them. In the first part of the championship, Espanyol defeated Rayo Vallecano with 1-3 as a guest and generally the last three meetings between them ended with victory for Espanyol.

Espanyol recorded three points in the intermediate round after beats Granada with 2:1. With these three points, the team collected a total of 45, which puts them in the middle of the table. For the last four meetings at home, Espanyol lost only one of them, against Barcelona, but took a point from Atletico Madrid, Elche and beats Athletic Bilbao with 1:0. The coach Sergio Gonzalez will not be able to rel on the defender Felipe Mattioni, but in game after punishment returns the central defender Hector Moreno.

Led by Paco Jemez Rayo Vallecano will arrive without the permanently injured Leo Baptistao, Cristian Alvarez and Antonio Amaya. The defender Jorge Morcillo received red card against Valencia and also misses the game.

Recommended bet: For Espanyol @ 1.75 at bet365
