Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc believes that next year three teams will compete for victory in the championship.
According to Leclerc, Mercedes will be able to catch up with Red Bull and Ferrari and impose a fight on rivals. At the same time, the Monegasque doubts that any other team will be able to achieve enough progress to compete with the leaders.
I think Mercedes will participate in the fight. Another team? I have not yet seen anything that would give reason to assume getting into the top 3 of some other team.
But Mercedes will definitely return to the top next season, with a very good car. We saw how much they were able to add in the distance between the first and last race of the past season. I think they figured out what they were doing wrong, and that usually means better team form. So next year, hopefully, we`ll have a three-team title fight.
I am confident in Ferrari`s chances because we have worked a lot on the simulator. Over the past year, we have done a huge amount of work to understand the weaknesses of our car and add next season, - said Leclerc.
