Bortoleto will play for Sauber.
In Sauber, as previously reported, they decided to completely change the lineup of pilots in 2025. The team had long ago entered into an agreement with Nico Hulkenberg, but for a long time could not decide on the candidacy of his partner.
It was believed that Sauber was inclined to extend the contract with Valtteri Bottas, but in the end the new management decided to bet on the young driver - and Sauber signed a contract with Gabriel Bortoleto, who is competing in Formula 2 this season and is currently in the leadin the overall standings.
