Manuel Pellegrini will take over Zenit

The management of Zenit St. Petersburg is in advanced negotiations with Manuel Pellegrini, the Russian press reported.
According to information, Zenit has offered a salary of four million euros to the Chilean professional.
Pellegrini is the only candidate for the coaching post at the zenith and the direction of the club by live soccer was taking calls solely with him.
There is still no agreement concluded between the two parties, but negotiations are well advanced.
Zenit has offered a contract for two years with Pellegrini but his representative wants a four-year contract.
Manuel Pellegrini also wants to be able to manage the team and to keep key players like Hulk, Garai and Danny.
Pellegrini will also sell Javi Garcia. The Spanish midfielder leaped at Zenit after transfer from Manchester City.
Andre Vilas-Boas a few months ago announced that he would leave the coaching post at Zenit.
The General Director of the Russian Club, Maxim Mitrofanov, said days ago that he did not exclude Vilas-Boas to change his mind, but it seems that the Portuguese will look for a new challenge in his career.
At the same time, Manuel Pellegrini will not continue his job at Manchester City and during the new season he will be replaced by Josep Guardiola.
