The Spanish authorities announced a high level of danger of the impending El Classico between Real Madrid and Barcelona. The derby is considered risky in view of the recent terrorist attacks in the French capital Paris.
At a special meeting held earlier, the security services decided that 1400 secret agents will be in the stands, plus more than 2600 officers and 1000 representatives of special services to combat terrorism.
It is recalled that in recent days the whole of Europe is on alert after what happened on 13 November in Paris.
For security reasons, the control meeting between Belgium and Spain was canceled, and the sparring between Germany and the Netherlands failed at the last minute because of a bomb threat.
