Cordoba - Valencia (Primera Division)

Cordoba takes Valencia in a meeting of 24th round of the Spanish Primera Division. The home side is firmly last in the standings with a total of only 18 points and guests occupy the 4th place with 47 points. The odds for the game offered by the leading bookmaker bet365 are as follows: 4.50 for a home win, with a draw at 3.30 and 1.91 for the victory of the guests.

The chances of Cordoba to escape from the relegation zone look increasingly small. The team is five points from 17th place and already is considered as relegated. The home side failed to score victory in their last four matches in La Liga and allowed three straight losses in his previous three games. The team led by Miroslav Dukic is one of the worst performing as host. In his previous 12 meetings at home has achieved only one victory. Cameroonian midfielder Patrick Ekeng will miss the game due to a penalty and with injury is defender Iago Bouzon.

"Bats" have won their last two matches in La Liga respectively against Getafe with 1:0 at home and against Espanyol with 2:1 as a guest. Valencia looks to places entitling participation in the Champions League, as hold the fourth place in the standings. Teams of Sevilla and Villarreal are very close to them and every misstep of Valencia will allow their pursuers to shorten the distance. The team has four wins, four draws and three defeats in their previous 11 games as guest in the league and now the time has come to improve these statistics. One of the main players in defence Antonio Barragan is with punishment and with injuries are two of the main attacking players of the team - Paco Alcacer and Enzo Perez.

In the last meeting between the two teams, Valencia broke Cordoba with the classical 3:0 at the "Mestalla". The success of the guests is beyond doubts.

Prediction Cordoba - Valencia: 2
Security: 8/10
Odds: 1.91 at bet365
